The manual contains exercises in operating a master sampler circular machine, an OVJA 24 double knit machine, a TM single knit machine, a TM double knit machine, and a four track single knit machine. Samples of created fabrics are also included. The Institute of Textile Technology (ITT) is a center for research, consulting services, and continuing education with a focus on helping the textile industry improve performance and global economic competitiveness. In 2003, the Institute relocated from Charlottesville, Virginia, to the Centennial Campus of North Carolina State University and formed a program with the College of Textiles of North Carolina State University.
