Contains recordings gathered as part of the North Carolina State University Genetic Engineering and Society (GES) Center to chronicle the experiences and perspectives of scientists, regulators, and scholars representing diverse perspectives on genetic engineering. The collection of recordings began in 2012 and is ongoing.
The recordings are part of the Archiving Agricultural Genetic Engineering and Society (AAGES) Oral Histories Project led by the North Carolina State University Genetic Engineering and Society Center, with the goals of encouraging public access to the history of genetic engineering through a collection of oral histories with key figures in the field.
