The Robert C. Kellison Papers, 1965-2005, include both published and unpublished papers, conference presentations, reports, correspondence, slides, and photographs.
Robert C. Kellison was born in 1931 in Marlinton, West Virginia, and earned his B.S. in Forestry from West Virginia University. He earned his M.S. in Forest Genetics from North Carolina State University in 1966 and his Ph.D. in 1971. Kellison became a faculty member at NC State in 1971. During his career he consulted extensively abroad (Brazil, Fiji, Venezuela, France, Taiwan) and also served in 1988-1989 as Interim Director of Camcore (Central America and Mexico Resources Cooperative), a non-profit international tree breeding organization headquartered at NC State.
