What is the VETS Collection? Can I use it if I am not a veterinary student?

The V.E.T.S. Collection is a group of frequently, heavily used veterinary textbooks housed on open shelving at the Veterinary Medicine Library. They supplement the 2-hour reserve textbook collection. V.E.T.S. collection books circulate to any NC State University Libraries patron for 3 day loan periods, but generally must be checked out in person rather than requested through Tripsaver.

You may not renew V.E.T.S. books online, but may renew them in person if no one is waiting for them. We prefer that V.E.T.S. books and reserve books be returned to the Vet Med Library rather than left in the return boxes at other NC State University Libraries.
