What is TRLN Direct?

TRLN Direct is a service used to quickly fill interlibrary loan requests from Duke, NC Central, and UNC-Chapel Hill Libraries. NC State users submit requests through Tripsaver request pages or the Catalog, and if the item is available at a Triangle Research Libraries Network (TRLN) library it will be delivered to your preferred pickup library in 2-3 business days. You will get an email when the item is ready to be picked up.

Items filled through TRLN Direct will be available at your preferred pickup location for 10 days. TRLN books check out for 120 days to faculty, graduates, and staff, and 30 days with 3 renewals to undergraduates. You can see your TRLN Direct requests and checkouts in the Tripsaver/TRLN Direct tab of My Account.
