Add A Book You Own, But the Libraries Doesn’t

If you’re willing to accept the risk of damage, you can put your own copy of a book on reserve.  This allows you to use the item from your class without waiting for NC State University Libraries to acquire it.

WARNING: These books, like all library books, do get beaten up and worn.  If you’re very attached to your copy, do NOT put it on reserve.

  1. Bring your item to the Ask Us desk at either Hill or Hunt Library.
  2. Fill out a short form with your name, email address and the course and section to which you want to assign the item
  3. That’s it!  We’ll take care of the rest in a few business days.
