How do I add physical materials to my Course Reserves?
Physical books, DVDs or videocassettes that you’d like students to be able to access can be added via request

Add A Book You Own, But the Libraries Doesn’t
If you’re willing to accept the risk of damage, you can put your own copy of a book on reserve. This allows you to use the item from your class without waiting for NC State University Libraries to acquire it.
WARNING: These books, like all library books, do get beaten up and worn. If you’re very attached to your copy, do NOT put it on reserve.
- Bring your item to the Ask Us desk at either Hill or Hunt Library.
- Fill out a short form with your name, email address and the course and section to which you want to assign the item
- That’s it! We’ll take care of the rest in a few business days.
