Can you tell me about the course reserve service and e-reserves?

The NC State University Libraries' reserve service is used by faculty to ensure course reading material is available. You may check out reserve materials for short loan periods (2 and 3-hours, and 1 and 3-days are commonly used) using your NC State University ID.

In recent years, the Libraries has made a large percentage of reserve material available in digital format, as e-reserves. This allows students to remotely access course reserves via the Libraries' website and to view these materials without loan period restrictions. Reserve materials and information about the NC State University Libraries' reserve service are available at D. H. Hill Jr., Jr. Ask Us and James B. Hunt, Jr. Ask Us
