Can NC State alumni still use the Libraries?

Alumni are more than welcome to access the library for research purposes. Note that a current university ID is required after 10pm and before 7am.

You may continue to use print resources in the library, including using the overhead book scanners, but you will no longer be able to borrow materials. If you'd like to be able to borrow books and have off-site access to limited online resources, you may be interested in a Friends of the Libraries membership. Please note that not all electronic resources are available to FOL borrowers.

You can also obtain copies of specific articles or book chapters from the NC State University Libraries collections through our digital delivery as a "Non-NC State patron" at cost. Read more about our digital delivery service (click on "First Time Users").
