Can I borrow materials from other libraries?

Yes! If the NC State University Libraries does not have the materials you are looking for, you may order them through Tripsaver as long as you are an NC State University faculty member, staff member, visiting scholar, registered student or university affiliate. When your item arrives, you may pick it up at Hill, Hunt or the branch library of your choice.

If you are an NC State student, faculty, or staff member, you may visit the libraries of the universities in the Triangle - Duke, NC Central, and UNC at Chapel Hill - and check out materials there. You can also check out materials at any UNC System library (see UNC Reciprocal Borrower Authentication) and at the libraries of the Cooperating Raleigh Colleges (CRC) - Meredith College, William Peace University, St. Augustine's, and Shaw University.

When you visit any of these libraries, please bring a picture ID. If you have questions about how to log in, please call 919-515-3364. Before you visit any of the CRC libraries, you must first get a CRC borrowing card from the Ask Us desk at Hill or Hunt Library.
