Pause for Paws

Join Prevention Services at Hill Library for a therapy dog event, "Pause for Paws" designed to help students find comfort, relieve stress, and promote well-being. 

During this event, certified therapy dogs from Canines for Service and their handlers will be stationed on the Hillsborough St. Patio. You'll have the opportunity to spend quality time with these wonderful canines, either by petting, playing or simply sitting beside them. The therapy dogs are specially trained to provide a soothing and non-judgmental atmosphere. "Pause for Paws" is open to all college students, faculty, and staff members. 

Please note that while these therapy dogs are well-trained and gentle, it's essential to approach them with respect and follow any guidelines provided by their handlers. Additionally, the library kindly requests that participants refrain from bringing personal pets to the event.
