About This Event

Join Prevention Services at Hunt Library for a therapy dog event, "Pause for Paws" designed to help students find comfort, relieve stress, and promote well-being during the demanding academic season. Certified therapy dogs from Canines for Service will be visiting the library to offer their calming presence and friendly interactions to support you in your studies.

During this event, certified therapy dogs and their handlers at Hunt Library. You'll have the opportunity to spend quality time with these wonderful canines, either by petting, playing, or simply sitting beside them. The therapy dogs are specially trained to provide a soothing and non-judgmental atmosphere.

"Pause for Paws" is open to all college students, faculty, and staff members. So, mark your calendars, bring a friend, and take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to de-stress and rejuvenate during your time at the library.

Please note that while these therapy dogs are well-trained and gentle, it's essential to approach them with respect and follow any guidelines provided by their handlers. Additionally, the Libraries kindly requests that participants refrain from bringing personal pets to the event.
