The plastic filament in a 3D printer is shaped into new models and prototypes. Our 3D printers in the Hill Library Makerspace are accessible to all students on campus, regardless of discipline or major. They are used for prototyping new products, making innovative models of scientific concepts, and for creative problem-solving in many other ways--skills have real value in the job market.
