Technology Sandbox

Designed as a hands-on technology showcase, the Technology Sandbox provides NC State students and faculty an opportunity to use the latest in large-scale display and gesture-based computing tools. The Technology Sandbox will soon feature a large Perceptive Pixel multi-touch display wall that will allow for an interactive experience with data visualization tools. In addition, there is a Microsoft Surface table, motion based gaming including a Nintendo Wii and (coming soon) Sony Playstation Move, as well as the latest in SMART Board technology.

Directions

Enter D. H. Hill Library from the brickyard. Go through the turnstile and turn left. Take the main stairs up one floor to the lobby. Directly ahead is the Circulation / Reserves Desk. Turn left to enter the West Wing. The Technology Sandbox is through the glass partition.
