How To Use This SurveyThis Web version of the North Carolina Architectural Records Survey is designed to provide remote access to information on selected architectural collections in North Carolina. Most of the information contained in the survey has not been updated since 1994. This Web version is simply a reformatting of the original 1994 report. The records survey is not comprehensive. It does begin, however, to represent the diversity of materials available to researchers in the state. Throughout these pages, hypertext links assist in navigating the survey. Search features on most browsers allow to scan individual pages for desired information on buildings, architects, architectural firms, libraries, and archives. Generally, entries to the survey under each category are organized by geographic location, then alphabetically by name of institution.
