Project Overview

Under the direction of the University Archives, the Centennial Campus Documentation Project commenced in 2004 as a mechanism for preserving and providing research access to documentation on this relatively new and innovative area of NCSU.

As part of the project, Special Collections staff are:

  • identifying and acquiring archival records from campus units
  • arranging and describing these materials for research access
  • conducting oral history interviews with key players in the campus's development
  • preparing virtual documents and other tools accessible on the web
