Historical NoteAs of 2009, CHASS is the second largest college at North Carolina State University. The College offers 60 bachelor’s programs, 15 master’s programs and 4 PhD programs to close to 5000 undergraduate and graduate students. As of 2009, CHASS is comprised of the following departments: Communication, English, Foreign Languages & Literatures, History, Interdisciplinary Studies, Philosophy & Religious Studies, Psychology, the School of Public & International Affairs, Social Work, and Sociology & Anthropology.
