The American Institute of Chemical Engineers was formed in 1908, and has since become the world's leading organization for chemical engineering professionals. A student chapter of the organization was established at NC State in 1930, and is still active as of 2008.
The records of the North Carolina State University Student Chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers contain meeting minutes, correspondence, the constitution and by-laws, membership rosters, and other general information. Materials range in date from 1930 to 2004.
