Historical NoteThe North Carolina State Agricultural Economics Club was formed in 1950 by students in the agricultural field for the purposes of stimulating interest in the field of agricultural economics, providing a means of contact between the students and faculty, and to provide the means for members to become and stay current with developments in the field of agricultural economics. The club existed on campus at least through the end of 1986, with primary activities being tours of agricultural businesses around the state of North Carolina, and participation in agricultural competitions, including the North Carolina State Fair.
