The North Carolina State University, University Players Records include campus organization information sheets, constitutions, and posters and flyers for performances. Materials range in date from 1969 to 1987.
The University Players, a volunteer student group, first performed during the 1968-1969 season, when they moved into Thompson Theatre with other theater staff. The Constitution reads "We the students of North Carolina State University engaged in the activities of the Frank Thompson Theatre, in order to foster a genuine interest in dramatics, to promote a social program among our membership, and to provide opportunity for the development of the students in this field, do ordain and establish this constitution for our organization."
