            <abstract id="ref3" label="Abstract">Raymond Spivey Fouraker (1891 - 1966) was a professor in the electrical engineering department at North Carolina State College from 1928 to 1958. Born in Dallas, Texas, Fouraker received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&amp;M College and his master's degree from the University of Texas. Before joining the faculty at N.C. State, he taught at Texas A&amp;M, the University of Texas, and Texas Technological College. He was a member of several organizations, including the American Institute of Electrical Engineers (AIEE), the American Society of Engineering Education, the North Carolina Society of Engineers, and the Raleigh Engineers' Club.</abstract>
