            <abstract id="ref2" label="Abstract">The Joe Ermalovich report and advertisement consist of a brief 1940 lab report entitled 
                <title ns2:type="simple" ns2:href="" render="doublequote">Determination of Power and Coefficient of Friction.</title> Ermalovich conducted the experiment to prove that force of friction is proportional to the normal force. It contains the original cover sheet and experiment data sheet, as well as a photocopy of one page of the report. A 1941 advertising poster for Carolina Coach Company, featuring Ermalovich as the campus representative, is also included.</abstract>
            <abstract id="ref3" label="Abstract">A West Virginia native, Ermalovich attended North Carolina State College of Agriculture and Engineering (later North Carolina State University) in the early 1940s. He was the campus representative for Carolina Coach Company in 1941.</abstract>
