Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) |
Are overdue fines charged at the NCSU Libraries?
No, daily fines are not charged except for recalled books, reserve items, and electronic devices such as laptop computers. However, if books reach 60 days overdue, a $25 processing fee will be charged for each book, even if those books are later returned in order to avoid the $100 lost book replacement fee.
**For specific amounts, see Rules on Overdue Materials.
