Where are the government documents?
U.S. Government Documents are located on the second floor of the Bookstacks Tower, and they have their own call numbering system called the Superintendent of Documents Classification System (SuDoc Classification System), which is recognizable by a colon (:) in the call number.
We have a sizeable collection, especially from about 1930 on. Most can be checked out. Not all U.S. government documents are listed in the library's catalog, so please ask for help at the Reference Desk, located on the first floor, West Wing.
North Carolina State documents, a smaller collection, are listed in the library catalog and they are shelved in the stacks with regular books, by Library of Congress (LC) call numbers.
