Can you tell me about the course reserve service and e-reserves?
The NCSU Libraries' reserve service is used by faculty to ensure course reading material is available. You may check out reserve materials for short loan periods (2- and 3-hours, and 1- and 3-days are commonly used) using your NCSU ID. In recent years, the Libraries has made a large percentage of reserve material available in digital format, as e-reserves. This allows students to remotely access course reserves via the Libraries' website and to view these materials without loan period restrictions.
