The Satellite Shelving Facility (SSF) is a closed-stack, 20,000 square-foot building on the main NC State campus that provides high-density, environmentally controlled shelving for books, audio-visual, microform, and Special Collections materials. Other materials housed there include archival and manuscript materials from the Libraries' Special Collections Research Center, and low-use microforms.
